  To take the marble test, put your left hand on your right shoulder. Put you left elbow down against your chest. Hold your violin with only your chin and left shoulder. Have a helper place a marble on your G and D strings. The marble will rest against the bridge if you are holding your violin up nice and high! It's not easy. So keep trying!
