The Power of Practice

“Knowledge is Power”, I’ve heard before.
My teacher had a way for me to learn more.
“Reading good books, is an excellent way.”
She said, “Practice reading every day.”

So, I checked out a book from the library,
and thought about what it meant to me.
This made me feel smart, I have to say.
My reading grew stronger every day.
