  This is a new arrangement for String Orchestra and Band of my song, “Bullies” which was very well received by many Broward Schools when first written in 2008.  The project was based on an idea given to me by Guidance Counselor, Marina Frankovitz at Stirling Elementary.

  I now teach String Orchestra at Bethune Elementary in Hollywood, Florida.  I wanted a piece that could be played together with the Bethune Band.  That meant that beginning strings needed to learn to play in the key of Bb, which is not an easy thing for beginning strings to do.  They are most comfortable in the keys of “A”, “D”, and “G”.
